Chromatic Reflection investigates the relationship between personal data and self-representation through an interactive visualization system. The work interrogates how algorithmic interpretations of human experience can both reveal and obscure aspects of identity, presenting an alternative framework for understanding data embodiment and digital self-reflection. Through real-time visualization of participant data, the installation creates a critical dialogue about agency and representation in computational systems.

The project employs custom algorithms to transform personal movement data into fluid, abstract visualizations, challenging conventional data representation paradigms. By prioritizing emotional and subjective interpretations over traditional data metrics, the work questions standard approaches to data visualization while exploring more consensual and human-centered methods of data interpretation. This methodology emphasizes participant agency in how their personal data is represented and interpreted.
